Aloor Chinmaya Sai Ganesh, a distinguished social entrepreneur, educator, and advocate for sustainability, has been honored with the REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship and the REX Karmaveer Chakra Award (Gold Medal) by International Confederation of NGOs (iCONGO) in partnership with the United Nations (UN). This recognition, presented at The Shriram Millennium School in Faridabad on November 26, 2025, celebrates his decade-long commitment to impactful social transformation and affirms his status as a leader fostering positive change globally.
Chinmaya has held several influential positions throughout his career. He is currently the State Vice President for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at the International Business Startup & Entrepreneurs Association (IBSEA), where he leads strategic planning, policy advocacy, and community engagement to promote a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in both the states. As a Mentor of Change under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, he provides pro-bono mentorship to young innovators, guiding them in design thinking and entrepreneurship. He also serves as a Startup Mentor for various organizations, and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sharada’s Facilitators, an educational enterprise that focuses on transforming school education and supporting rural, semi-urban, and urban schools. Sharada’s facilitators worked in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Chinmaya employed close to a hundred people under Sharada’s facilitators, and the organization trained thousands of teachers to raise them to global standards to make their employability and school education quality sustainable. This has helped increase the quality of education. Additionally, he is a Partner at Cheer On Ventures, where he mentors and secures investments for promising startups.
His extensive volunteerism includes significant contributions to global sustainability and to social development. He has served as a Climate Reality Project Leader with The Climate Reality Project, a Human Rights Wing Policy Team Member at YOUNGO (the official children and youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), and a V Force Leader at the United Nations Volunteers India. He has also contributed to research aimed at strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and improving rural livelihoods, while conducting comprehensive work in child and women empowerment, youth empowerment, gender equality, inclusivity, and Smart Village Projects.
Chinmaya’s leadership roles and volunteer commitments have been pivotal in tackling unemployment, providing mentor training, and offering career and entrepreneurship counseling to youth across India and internationally. His dedication to nurturing new ventures and fostering sustainable development continues to shape a self-reliant and globally engaged entrepreneurial landscape in India.
