New Delhi, India – 25/09/2025 – The Bharat Esports Professional Federation (BEsPF), India’s national governing body for esports, is excited to announce the launch of its first-ever EA FC 26 tournament series. This initiative is the culmination of a strategic collaboration between the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure – Skills Council (SPEFL-SC) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) to build a formal, sustainable ecosystem for competitive gaming in India.

This tournament series is more than just a competition; it’s a foundational step in our long-term vision. We are committed to identifying and nurturing top talent across the country and preparing them for national and international glory.

The tournament series includes three key events in the month of October:

October 5: State Championship in Gurugram, Haryana

October 19: State Championship in Noida, Uttar Pradesh

October 26: National Championship in Delhi

We are building a comprehensive, national database of esports players through these events. This database will ensure equitable representation from every state and will be our primary tool for scouting and developing elite Indian talent for prestigious global events like the Esports World Cup, Olympic Esports Games, and the Asian Games.

Player registrations for all three tournaments are now officially open. We invite all aspiring esports athletes to participate in this landmark event, which marks a new chapter for competitive gaming in India.

This tournament series also reaffirms the legitimacy of esports as a sport, as recognized by the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. These events are designed to drive a positive social impact by promoting digital literacy, fostering essential life skills, and championing inclusivity within the gaming community.
