Organized by Swami Atmasthananda Seva Pratishthan & Indo Occidental Symbiosis
The Gita Jayanti Mahotsav 2025 is a grand, week-long spiritual and cultural festival taking place from 30th November to 6th December 2025 at Vishnu Maidan, Bangur Nagar, Goregaon (West), Mumbai. This magnificent celebration is being organized by Shouvik Dasgupta of Swami Atmasthananda Seva Pratishthan, in association with Indo Occidental Symbiosis, and supported by the Government of Maharashtra, Department of Tourism.
This year’s central theme is “World Brotherhood.”
The Mahotsav is envisioned not just as a festival, but as a beautiful confluence of devotion, art, and knowledge uniting saints, scholars, artists, and devotees from across the country to spread the timeless message of the Bhagavad Gita and the eternal wisdom of Lord Krishna.
One of the sacred highlights will be the divine arrival of the Shri Ram Paduka from Ayodhya, symbolizing purity, devotion, and spiritual grace. Thousands of devotees from all walks of life will gather to offer prayers, seek blessings, and immerse themselves in the festival’s holy atmosphere.
The celebrations will begin on 30th November 2025 with a magnificent cultural tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Ahilyabai Holkar. Over 50,000 devotees and guests are expected to attend. The opening ceremony will feature a spectacular theatrical and musical presentation titled “Shiv Charitra”, honoring the bravery, vision, and legacy of Maharashtra’s legendary icons.
Each evening of the Mahotsav will be adorned with performances from some of India’s most celebrated artists:
Sonu Nigam, Tejashree Amonkar, Maestro Swapan Chaudhari, Tanmoy Bose, Zanai Bhonsle, and many more who will offer soulful musical, dance, and dramatic tributes to India’s cultural luminaries.
The Mahotsav aims to rekindle India’s spiritual and cultural spirit, echoing the profound Gita shloka “Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya…”, reminding today’s youth of their purpose, values, and inner strength.
To inspire younger generations, more than 10,000 schools across India will participate through workshops, campaigns, and interactive programs designed to instill moral values, leadership, and spiritual wisdom from the teachings of Lord Krishna.

Throughout the seven days, the Mahotsav will present a seamless blend of:
