Sharjah, United Arab Emirates – September 18, 2025 | Source: OneClickDrive
OneClickDrive has shared its latest review of platform activity, showing that the market for used cars in Sharjah is building steady momentum through 2025. The findings reveal that rising buyer confidence, improved transparency, and realistic pricing are at the core of this growth. Both individual sellers and dealerships are seeing more consistent engagement, while buyers are approaching the resale market with greater assurance than in previous years.
The report highlights that demand in Sharjah reflects a slightly different profile compared to Dubai. Value-focused residents dominate the buyer pool, with practical sedans and compact crossovers proving to be the most active categories. Families and daily commuters continue to seek affordable and reliable vehicles, making these segments the backbone of Sharjah’s resale activity. SUVs and premium models remain available, but they typically move at a slower pace, aligning with the city’s preference for cost-effective mobility solutions.
Transparency and Pricing Shaping Buyer Confidence
One of the most visible changes in Sharjah’s resale market has been the level of detail provided in listings. Sellers of used cars in Sharjah are increasingly uploading service histories, mileage records, and inspection details. This trend toward openness is removing uncertainty from the process and helping buyers evaluate value before scheduling a viewing. For sellers, being transparent has led to more inquiries and quicker transactions, reinforcing the role of trust in building a healthy resale ecosystem.
Mahesh Pagarani, Managing Director of OneClickDrive, explained, “We are seeing a market that is not just active but more informed. Sellers who take the time to provide full details are connecting with buyers faster, and that confidence is driving momentum across Sharjah’s used car market.”
Pricing awareness has also become a defining factor. Many sellers now benchmark their vehicles against comparable listings, adjusting their expectations to align with market realities. This has reduced the gap between what sellers ask and what buyers are willing to pay, cutting down lengthy negotiations. Buyers, in turn, are gaining a clearer sense of fair value, which makes decision-making easier.
This upward trend is also supported by cross-emirate interest, as many buyers exploring Dubai export cars are now considering Sharjah listings for their affordability and variety.
The report also notes an emerging interest in hybrid and electric cars. While petrol vehicles remain the overwhelming majority, hybrid and EV models are beginning to appear more frequently in Sharjah listings. Adoption is still gradual, but it signals that buyers are starting to consider more sustainable options in line with the UAE’s long-term mobility goals.
This flow of interest underscores Sharjah’s growing role within the UAE’s wider used car ecosystem, making it a reliable hub for second-hand vehicles.
OneClickDrive’s review, based on data from January to August 2025, makes clear that transparency, fair pricing, and growing buyer confidence are reshaping the market. Despite rising ownership costs, the resale sector continues to thrive, offering residents accessible, practical, and trusted ways to stay mobile.
