Siddhartha Dikshit’s entrepreneurial journey is a testament to vision, perseverance, and the ability to turn small beginnings into global achievements. Today, he serves as the Managing Director of Vehement Technologies Private Limited and ILICO Services Limited, two companies recognized for their expertise in international ERP solutions. With a group turnover exceeding $15 million and a state-of-the-art R&D center in Kolkata spanning 8,000 sq. ft., Siddhartha’s enterprises now operate on a global scale. Yet, his path began humbly in a tiny 200-square-foot office in Dum Dum, Kolkata, armed with little more than determination and a dream.
Born in Kolkata and raised in Delhi, Siddhartha’s early fascination with technology shaped his educational journey. He earned a diploma in Computer Science in Kolkata, a B.Tech in Computer Science from Delhi University, and later pursued an MBA in Marketing and Management from Queen’s University in Belfast, UK. These formative years laid the foundation for the entrepreneurial mindset that would later define his career.
In his early twenties, Siddhartha founded Object Web Technologies, a small software and website development firm operating with just five contractual employees. Those modest beginnings taught him crucial lessons about client management, market expectations, and delivering quality with limited resources. More importantly, they seeded the ideas that would eventually transform the manufacturing ERP landscape.
In 2006, he incorporated Vehement Technologies Private Limited. Initially service-focused, the company’s trajectory changed in 2008 when a Kolkata-based manufacturer sought a custom ERP solution. Siddhartha and his team developed a system capable of managing inventory, production, sales, auditing, finance, and HR through a single platform. This experience highlighted the broader demand for integrated ERP systems, inspiring the creation of vERP, a scalable solution for the manufacturing industry.

vERP evolved with every client interaction, incorporating feedback and improving features to meet diverse business needs. Transitioning from a service provider to a product-focused company was bold but essential. To facilitate international growth, Siddhartha established ILICO Services Limited in 2012, a public limited company dedicated to promoting vERP globally. With specialized R&D and marketing teams, the company shifted its resources entirely towards product innovation.
Shortly thereafter, vERP went global. vERP entered Latin American markets that included Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Guatemala. From there, the company expanded into the Middle East, reaching Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, and later secured strong visibility across African countries that included Nigeria, Ethiopia, Angola, Egypt, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and Cameroon. Supplementing this outreach, Siddhartha Dikshit built physical offices in cities that included Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Dhaka, California, London, and Cape Town. A channel partner network took the company’s reach to as many as 66 countries.
The infrastructure for the company kept on growing with the product and the demand. A G+4 development centre was built at Kolkata along with expanded operations in Hyderabad. Later, discussions carried out with the West Bengal Government IT Department led to the grant of land at Bengal Silicon Valley for a future G+10 global headquarters, slated for completion in 2028. The new building represents the next chapter of Siddhartha Dikshit’s long-term vision.
During the COVID period, while most businesses faced struggles, vERP received a high demand from manufacturing companies that wanted more control, transparency, and centralized digital tools. This renewed enthusiasm motivated Siddhartha Dikshit to introduce ERP.BZ, a completely cloud-based SaaS version of the ERP system. Since the concept was that it had to be deployable fast and not customized, ERP.BZ enabled companies to subscribe and start using the software immediately, placing Vehement at an advantageous position against a world becoming increasingly cloud-first. Despite the global reach and growing scale of his ventures, Siddhartha remains grounded. “Clients are not just customers—they are partners and friends who have helped us grow,” he often says.
Over the years, Siddhartha Dikshit has been recognized with numerous accolades, reflecting the dedication of his teams and the trust of his clients. Among these honours is the Bharat Business Award 2024, a milestone in a journey marked more by innovation and perseverance than recognition.
